It's a funny story, that, behind Amanda and Skeet's companionship. It's.. a protection thing. Skeet was charged by divine forces (HAHAHA!) to protect her, for reasons he didn't even know.. and in all the years she's known him, their friendship, she's.. sorta fallen for him. Hard.. especially later in the comic, when she suffers her second depression problem. When they first were friends, he didn't think he could care about anyone aside from Mellie in that way.. but when 'Manda starts to make her feelings known.. He starts to question that. They've never kissed or anything like that. I could go on, but I won't.
Except this: Ayzewi finds it funny. She calls it "Love without the benefit of knowing it," ..an accurate statement, sort of.
This is similar to another (larger) picture I drew, but plan on coloring it, instead of just shading.
They meet frequently at this abandoned house.. to talk.. to play pool.. to reflect and support..
"...and we will always have each other."
man, the emotion in this picture is so strong. and the grayscale shading gives it a film noir kinda look. which prolli contributes to the emotion. (i call it " casablanca syndrome". well, not really, but i'm blaming it on that movie. )
I love this, tho. It has a very Gambit/Rogue "so close, yer so far" atmosphere. Nice touch~
Anyway... ummm, I know this is supposed to be a kiss. But why do I sense like... her face is bigger than his?
what about the "almost kissing" skeet and manda pic, huh? >D
